HPS 2026 Summer Concert

On Tuesday evening, the Music Department was delighted to present our annual Summer Concert, an inspiring celebration of the exceptional talent, dedication and achievement of our students.  

The programme featured a selection of performances from students across all year groups. Audiences were treated to accomplished performances by the orchestra, choir, bands, alongside a number of outstanding soloists. Each performance reflected not only the high standard of musicianship within the school but also the confidence, commitment, creativity and enthusiasm that our students bring to every rehearsal and performance. 

The concert also marked a significant milestone for our Year 11 and Year 13 students, for whom this was their final concert as members of the school community. Over the course of their time at the school, these students have made an invaluable contribution to the musical life of the school through their leadership, dedication and consistently high levels of performance. Their final appearances on the concert stage were both poignant and inspiring, and we thank them for the lasting impact they have made on our ensembles and the wider school community. 

Congratulations to every student who performed. The Summer Concert was a memorable occasion that celebrated musical excellence, collaboration and the remarkable achievements of our young musicians. We look forward to our next concert in December.
