Welcome to Highams Park School, a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school that serves its local community, with over 1600 students on roll, comprising of 240 students in each year group from Years 7 - 11, and approximately 350 students in our Sixth Form. The legal status of the school is a Single Academy Trust, an independent state funded school.

Our school motto of “Success through our Endeavours” coupled with our core behaviours of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience sum up the importance of the development of students' character alongside our role of delivering academic excellence. A strong relationship between students, their parents/carers, and the school is vital in ensuring students fulfil their potential. Our hope is that students who join Highams Park School in Year 7 are at the start of a seven-year journey, remaining with us until the end of Year 13, when they will progress onto the next phase of their life and enter employment, or continue their studies at University.

Final week of term

Monday 13th - Friday 17th July 2026

With next week being our annual school enrichment week, students will be permitted to wear non-uniform clothing throughout the whole of next week - Monday 13th to Friday 17th July 2026. Please be advised that clothing must be appropriate for the activities the students are taking part in each day, meaning students should ensure they are dressed safely and suitably for any practical, physical, or specialist activities.

As the weather may be warm, students should also bring a refillable water bottle in order to stay hydrated throughout the day, we also strongly advise all students to bring sun cream and a hat on days they are going to be outside for a significant period of time, especially the school walk on Thursday 16th July.

We appreciate your support in ensuring that clothing remains appropriate for a school environment at all times.

The final day of term is Friday 17th July 2026, students will be dismissed at the end of Period 3 at 12:20pm.
