Highams Park School Star Shines at Elite Algarve Cup

Highams Park School is celebrating another rising sporting talent as Year 7 footballer Lloric Hylton delivered a standout performance while representing Arsenal FC at the prestigious Elite Algarve Cup tournament in Portugal.

Competing against some of Europe’s strongest academy sides, Lloric rose to the occasion with confidence and flair. Over the course of the tournament, he scored three impressive goals, showcasing his sharp finishing, intelligent movement, and ability to perform under pressure.

His most memorable moment came in the semi-final clash against Benfica, where he struck two superb goals. Despite the team’s unfortunate 3-2 defeat, Lloric’s contribution was widely praised, marking him as one of the standout young players of the competition.

This achievement adds to a growing list of sporting successes for Highams Park School. Lloric’s dedication, skill, and determination embody the spirit of our school’s athletes, and we are incredibly proud to see him excel on an international stage.
