Supporting Students During Ramadan - Lunch Arrangements

As we approach the month of Ramadan, we would like to support pupils who may be fasting during the school day.

If your child is entitled to Free School Meals and will be observing Ramadan, our catering team can provide a take-home lunch option so they can enjoy their meal later at Iftar. This will usually be a sandwich or similar item that can be collected discreetly at lunchtime and taken home.

If your child would like to receive a take-home meal during Ramadan, please encourage them to speak to the catering team at school, who will manage this sensitively and respectfully.

We are pleased to be able to support families during this important time and ensure that pupils continue to benefit from their meal entitlement.
