Year 13 Celebration Assembly

On May 8th, 2026, the Sixth Form centre was filled with nostalgia as we gathered for the Year 13 Leavers Assembly. It was a morning dedicated to celebrating this cohorts time with us.

The assembly included a series of reflections from students, who shared memories of their experiences and personal growth over the past two years. This was followed by the presentation of several student-voted awards, acknowledging the various personalities within the year group, including best dressed and most likely to be famous. Members of the teaching staff also contributed to the celebration. Several departments produced leaving videos for the students, which included choreographed dance performances set to Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj's Beauty and a Beat. Students also enjoyed the Baby Photos Quiz, which went down very well seeing how much our students had changed during their 18 years!

A significant portion of the assembly was dedicated to the presentation of awards from staff to students. The highlight was the Jenny Brown Kindness Award, in memory of our former Sixth Form Secretary. This year, the award was presented to Maisie in recognition of her consistent kindness and dedication to the Sixth Form community.

Year 13 has been a focused and hardworking cohort. As they transition into their upcoming examinations, we wish them the very best of luck. We look forward to seeing their hard work reflected in their results and wish them success in their future endeavours beyond the Sixth Form.
