Year 7 girls Netball - Waltham Forest League 2025-26

League results:

HPS V Buxton. Drew 4-4

HPS  V WSFG. HPS won 6-5

HPS  V WA. HPS won 1-0

HPS  V Leytonstone. HPS won 4-2

HPS  V Holy Family. Holy family won 13-5

On Monday 27th April, the girls played their semi-final match against Heathcote with determination and tenacity. Their hard work paid off, resulting in an impressive 5–0 victory and securing their place in the final.

In the final, the girls faced a familiar opponent from the league, Holy Family. A fiercely contested first half saw both teams level at 2–2 at half time, with strong performances across the court. The start of the second half proved challenging, as Holy Family managed to score two quick goals despite outstanding defensive efforts.

Our attackers—Alice, Annia, Jessica and Oriana—worked tirelessly against a formidable defence and were rewarded with a well-earned goal. Despite this, Holy Family pulled ahead again, and the match finished 6–3.

Highams Park School Year 7 netball team proudly took the silver medal—an outstanding achievement in their very first Waltham Forest League competition. Congratulations to all the girls on a fantastic season.
