Cleaner

Overview

Highams Park School is looking for dynamic and pro-active people to join our cleaning team, working either an afternoon shift (3.20pm – 5.20pm) or a morning shift (6.00am to 8.00am) Monday to Friday. Each member of our cleaning team needs to be reliable, punctual, hard-working, understand health and safety and be able to operate alongside other colleagues to get the best possible job done.

Personal attributes

 

Essential 

Reliability and a strong work ethic 
Previous cleaning experience 
Good timekeeping and a commitment to working as part of a team 
Flexibility and a willingness to help others 
Able to operate on own initiative to ensure a clean and safe environment 
Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries when working with children 

 

Desirable 

Understanding of COSSH, safe use of cleaning chemicals and materials 
Previous work in a school  
Basic first aid 

Salary & Benefits

Salary from £6952 to £6952 per year

10 hours per week

39 weeks per year
