Building Project Update

From Monday 30th September there are some roadworks that need to happen at the end of Beverley Road. This means that students will no longer be able to leave the school via this gate at the end of the day. Please remind your child about this and that they must leave the school via the Handsworth Avenue gates at the front of the school.

From Monday 14th October work will start on the field to prepare it for the temporary building. The contractor will be installing a fence around the works to keep everyone safe and the field will be off limits to all students.

Now that the planning permission has been granted and contracts have been signed we are ready to commence an exciting, and overdue, redevelopment of the school. We are still many months from moving into the temporary building but I’m pleased to let you know that you will start to see work on site very shortly. We will be working closely with Bowmer + Kirkland and the DfE over the coming years to deliver a modern building fit for the growing aspirations of the school.
